Slow networking and high cpu usage after new kernel booting
by smegmaLord from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5T6EP)
Hello forum!
I've recently compiled my first kernel (from kernel.org), backed up my old one and tried to boot it.
Not everything was working as I was expecting it should so I booted my old distro kernel (arch linux).
Problem is that after this my networking is super slow (like 6 seconds wait time for google.com) and my CPU usage is high aswell (kwin11 ... I am using kde).
Not only that but also some of the third party libraries and applications arent working! I had reinstall all of them (like skype, spotify, ...)
Do you guys have any advice how to solve this issue?
