[Solved] Problems adding Leipzig.tcl into Scid-vs-PC.
by Camello from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5T6JP)
Hello,
I have a problem with Scid-vs-PC in Sparky-7 and it is that when I download the pieces style package that I always use 'Leipzig.tcl' and perform the installation process, it does not open in the scidvspc graph (GUI) -- after going to options>chessboard>pieces it does not open, the option for leipzig does not appear.
The usual process is to create a folder and name it 'pieces' in the .scidvspc directory and place leipzig inside the "pieces" file, it follows in this path:
home/user/.scidvspc/Pieces/Leipzig.tcl.
I have done it many times before in Debian systems but it doesn't work here.
*I downloaded Scid-vs-PC and Leipzig.tcl from ...:
Scid-vs-PC:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/sci...ux%20packages/
Leipzig.tcl:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/sci...hess%20pieces/
Thank you very much for any helpful suggestions or guidance.
