Problems with WLAN in Dell D420: recognized but not working
by SuSE_Lamer from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5T782)
Hello,
recently I installed Antix on Dell Latitude D420, and now I have problems with enabling WLAN. The card is recognized, but "Network manager" says, the card is disabled via hardware switch. But D420 has no hardware switch (to be more precise, it has, but I disabled it in BIOS).
The card is Intel PRO 3945 ABG. This card was working in open Suse tumbleweed, which installed before Antix. I found several different forums, tried hints there - but nothing helped.
I would appreciate any hint. If I need to post dmesg output, just let me know.
