[SOLVED] Packages missing from second arch installation
by salmanahmed from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5T7RY)
Hi
I have two PCs (say PC-1 and PC-2), both are running Arch Linux. PC-1 is deployed a year ago, and PC-2 is deployed 2-weeks ago. There are certain packages which I have installed on PC-1 and also want to install them on PC-2.
So, I want to know that which packages are installed in PC-1, but are missing from PC-2 (so I may install them in it too). How can I know that?
PS: Will it be a proper method to generate package lists from both PCs and compare them with "diff"? I doubt it.
