NHL Monday best bet: Wild to snap losing skid in Dallas
The NHL continues to try to power through its COVID-19 issues. While there is only one game scheduled tonight, I still see value on the board.
Let's comb through it.
Wild (-105) @ Stars (-115)The Wild are one of the better teams in the NHL, ranking third in goals scored at five-on-five and seventh in goals for percentage. That's not a far cry from where they deserve to be, as they sit 11th in expected goals for percentage.
That may not seem that good, but it's worth noting Minnesota has dealt with a lot of absences this season due to COVID-19 and injuries. Now, the team is fully healthy and ready to make a run.
The Stars are a good team playing some of their best hockey as of late, but I don't think Dallas has the high-end talent - or depth - to match the Wild.
I like Minnesota to snap out of a three-game losing skid and head into the holiday break on a high note.
Bet: Wild (-105)
