A former police officer has won a court of appeal challenge over police guidance on hate incidents after claiming it unlawfully interferes with the right to freedom of expression.
Ex-officer Harry Miller, who describes himself as gender critical", was visited at work by an officer from Humberside police in January 2019 after a member of the public complained about his allegedly transphobic tweets.
