EU Announces World's First Integration of a Photonic Co-Processor in HPC

LightOn has announced that its "Appliance" Optical Processing Unit (OPU) has been selected for deployment in France's Jean Zay supercomputer. This marks the first time a photonics coprocessor is integrated with the HPC market.
