Snow headed to Hamilton Thursday afternoon; caution advised for drivers
Snow is headed to Hamilton late Thursday afternoon, potentially affecting evening commutes.
Two to six centimetres of snow may accumulate by the time it stops overnight, according to an Environment Canada advisory.
The agency advises motorists to be cautious with heavier snow expected in the evening.
Drivers should be prepared for transportation delays and may have to adjust their driving according to road conditions. If there is poor visibility, motorists should turn on lights and keep a safe distance from other vehicles.
Highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may be harder to navigate, Environment Canada added.
