The Tennessee Titans activated wide receiver A.J. Brown from injured reserve, making him available to play against the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday Night Football, the team announced.

Brown hasn't played since Week 11 due to a chest injury.

Despite missing four games, the 24-year-old leads Tennessee in targets (78), catches (46), receiving yards (615), and touchdown receptions (three).

Brown's return is a major boost to an offense that has struggled in recent games. The Titans are 1-3 in their last four contests and didn't score more than 20 points in any of those matchups.

Tennessee welcomed back wide receiver Julio Jones in last week's loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, but Jones saw only one target before leaving the game with a hamstring injury. The seven-time Pro Bowler wasn't listed on the injury report Wednesday and is expected to be available against the 49ers on Thursday.

Tennessee currently sits first in the AFC South at 9-5.
