Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians aggravated his ruptured Achilles tendon this week, he told Jay Glazer of FOX Sports.

Arians currently has a partial rupture that would likely require immediate surgery if it fully ruptures, according to Glazer.

The 69-year-old initially suffered the ailment during a Week 13 win over the Atlanta Falcons but has been able to coach through it. He's worn a walking boot and used a scooter at practice.

Arians told Glazer that he's unsure if he'd be able to coach on the sideline if he undergoes surgery during the season, but he will do what he can in order to finish the rest of the Bucs' year.

Arians became the oldest head coach to win the Super Bowl after beating the Kansas City Chiefs last February.
