A blaze at an apartment building on the west Mountain early Tuesday evening caused more than $200,000 in damage.
No one was injured in the fire at 180 Limeridge Rd. W., a nine-storey apartment complex where several Hamilton firefighter crews responded just before 6 p.m.
The fire department said in a tweet the blaze originated in a unit on the top floor.
Crews remained on scene as of 7:30 p.m., clearing the apartment and hallways of smoke and debris. Tenants were expected to be let back in late Tuesday night, the department said.
A cause has yet to be released.
