Cincinnati Bengals tight end C.J. Uzomah expects to play in Super Bowl LVI on Sunday despite dealing with a knee injury.

"It's the Super Bowl. I'm doing everything I can," Uzomah told reporters Monday, according to NFL.com's Kevin Patra. "I don't really care too much about how I'm feeling, to be honest, when I'm out there."

He added: "I'm not missing the biggest game of my life."

Uzomah sustained the injury early during the Bengals' AFC Championship win over the Kansas City Chiefs and missed the remainder of the game. A postgame MRI provided optimism that he could be available following a week of rest.

The 28-year-old pass-catcher has hauled in 13 receptions for 135 yards and a touchdown during the Bengals' postseason run. Uzomah set career highs with 49 receptions, 493 yards, and five scores during the regular season.

Cincinnati could turn to tight end Drew Sample if Uzomah is unavailable for the big game.
