Ahead of his first Super Bowl appearance, Los Angeles Rams receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is seemingly indifferent to previous criticisms that he was a distraction.

Beckham told reporters Monday during Super Bowl media day that he doesn't take satisfaction from proving others wrong.

"A younger me definitely would have, but I feel like I've come so far," Beckham said, per SNY. "I really know who I am. I know myself. I know what I can bring. I know all of the stories and all that. So it's tough to answer, but I don't really take satisfaction because it's not that deep for me. Because like I said, I just know who I am.

"I'm just happy that I'm in the position I am in, playing in a Super Bowl, hopefully being able to give one last effort, everything I have for this team to bring home that trophy."

The star wideout landed with the Rams following a midseason release by the Cleveland Browns after his father released a video montage highlighting missed and errant throws from Baker Mayfield.

Beckham, who critics also labeled a diva during his tenure with the New York Giants from 2014-18, reflected on how he feels the perception of him has changed over the years, though he admitted he could have been more mindful earlier in his career.

"It's just crazy to see how the narratives and everything has changed," Beckham added.

Beckham has played a significant role in the Rams' march to Super Bowl LVI, recording 236 receiving yards in the postseason, including a season-high 113 yards in the NFC title game win over the San Francisco 49ers.
