If Jalen Ramsey had his way, the Los Angeles Rams All-Pro cornerback would shadow Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase in Super Bowl LVI.

"Of course, that's what I'm asking for. That's what I want," Ramsey told reporters Monday, according to ESPN's Nick Wagoner. "Whoever you think their best man is, put me on him. Let me help the team win this game. That's what it's all about."

L.A. hasn't tasked the five-time Pro Bowler with shadowing one specific receiver often during the run to the Super Bowl.

Ramsey's highest shadow rates this season came in Week 16 against Minnesota Vikings receiver Justin Jefferson (58%) and the divisional round against Tampa Bay Buccaneers wideout Mike Evans (69%), according to NFL Next Gen Stats.

While Chase leads all Cincinnati pass-catchers with 279 receiving yards in the postseason, Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd also pose challenges to the Rams' secondary. L.A. could opt for their top defensive back to play various coverages rather than tracking down one player.

Rams defensive coordinator Raheem Morris says he's confident Ramsey will make an impact regardless of where he lines up on Sunday.

"Jalen is one of one, and I would put Jalen on anybody in the history of our game," said Morris.

Meanwhile, one of Ramsey's opponents offered him respect ahead of Sunday's matchup.

"I think he's definitely, probably the best cornerback in the NFL," said Boyd. He added: "So, we've got to be at our best - any one of us - when we go out there and line up in front of him to figure out ways to win our matchup."
