Hamilton police say a man is facing several drug- and weapon-related charges after officers spotted a suspicious vehicle in Stoney Creek.

In a press release, police said officers were in the area of Centennial Parkway North and the QEW on Feb. 9 when they saw a man lingering around a motorcycle.

Through their investigation, police seized more than $56,000 worth of drugs including fentanyl, cocaine, oxycodone and methamphetamine along with more than $5,000, as well as a stun gun.

A 37-year-old Hamilton man has been charged with nearly a dozen drug- and weapon-related offences.

Anyone with information related to the investigation is asked to contact Sgt. Candice Culp at 905-546-2907.
