Andrew Whitworth could see himself riding off into the sunset if the Los Angeles Rams win Super Bowl LVI.

"What an unreal way to walk off," Whitworth said Friday when asked about retiring if the Rams win, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. "I don't think there's anything else I would have to do."

The 40-year-old has never captured a Lombardi Trophy over his 16-year career. His opportunity to win a championship Sunday will come against the Cincinnati Bengals, where he spent the first 11 years of his career.

Whitworth was named the Walter Payton Man of the Year at the NFL honors event Thursday. The award is given to players who show excellence on the field and in the community.

The veteran tackle has started 71 games for the Rams since signing with them in 2017.
