Cooper Kupp capped off his historic 2021 season in grand style.

The Los Angeles Rams wide receiver was named MVP of Super Bowl LVI after catching the late game-winning touchdown in a 23-20 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.

Kupp finished the evening with eight catches for 92 yards and two touchdowns on 10 targets. He also gained 7 yards on one rushing attempt, converting a crucial fourth-down attempt in the fourth quarter on the play.

The 28-year-old is the first receiver to win the award since Julian Edelman did it with the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LIII.

Kupp, the 2021 Offensive Player of the Year, became only the fourth player in the Super Bowl era to capture the receiving triple crown during the regular season. He led the NFL with 145 receptions, 1,947 yards, and 16 touchdown catches.

The All-Pro pass-catcher also scored at least one touchdown in all four playoff games during the Rams' Super Bowl title run. He finished the postseason with six touchdown receptions, tying Jerry Rice (1988) for the second-most in a single postseason, according to ESPN's Brady Henderson.

Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford also stood out, tossing for 283 yards and three touchdowns against two interceptions on 26-of-40 passing. On the other side of the ball, Aaron Donald and Von Miller amassed two sacks each.
