Man, 67, in critical condition after east Hamilton crash

A 67-year-old man was taken to hospital in critical condition Tuesday night after crashing his car into a hydro pole in east Hamilton.
Emergency crews were called to Queenston Road and Adair Avenue South, just east of Parkdale Avenue South, around 7:30 p.m. for reports of a collision.
Hamilton police said it was a single-car crash.
Supt. Dave Thompson of the Hamilton Paramedic Service said paramedics performed resuscitative efforts on the man before he was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The collision is being investigated by the collision reconstruction unit.
