Affordable pet care for those who qualify, comes to Hamilton
If the cost of medical care for your pet leaves you scratching your head, a new option in town might provide some relief.
East Village Animal Hospital, which began in London and expanded to Kitchener, has opened a Hamilton clinic at 1400 Upper James St.
The hospital, a non-profit, offers veterinary services to low-income individuals or families, or those on social assistance. There is an application process to go through before becoming a client.
For clients who qualify, this results in procedure costs significantly less than traditional animal hospitals.
EVAH, which only treats cats and dogs, offers a wide array of tests, surgeries, vaccinations, and important spay and neuter options for your pet.
