Report: Colts not expected to re-sign Fisher
The Indianapolis Colts aren't expected to re-sign offensive tackle Eric Fisher, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The two sides had been reportedly trying to reach an agreement on a new deal over recent weeks, but now the 31-year-old is poised to become an unrestricted free agent.
Fisher served as the Colts' left tackle last year. He started 15 contests last season after suffering an Achilles injury as a member of the Kansas City Chiefs during the 2021 AFC Championship Game.
The two-time Pro Bowler, who has experience at both left and right tackle, signed a one-year, $8.38-million contract with Indy last season.
The Chiefs selected Fisher with the first overall pick in 2013. The Central Michigan product started 113 of a possible 117 games during his Kansas City tenure and was a part of the team that won Super Bowl LIV.
Mark Glowinski, who also started on the Colts' offensive line last season, is set to hit the open market as well.
