Halton Regional Police have charged a Burlington teen with stunt driving and other charges after a traffic stop on Appleby Line.
The stop occurred Tuesday, March 8 around 9:30 p.m. on Appleby Line near 4 Side Road.
Police said the 18-year-old received a 30-day driver's licence suspension along with a 14-day car impound as a result of the stunt driving charge, laid after a vehicle was clocked at 127 km/h in a posted 70 km/h zone.
"Project Reduce Rural Racing continues to make a difference in Burlington's north end," Halton police said in a tweet, referring to the targeted enforcement this week.
