Eagles land Reddick on 3-year deal worth reported $45M
The Philadelphia Eagles and pass-rusher Haason Reddick agreed to a three-year deal, the team announced Monday.
Reddick will receive $45 million over the three-year term, a source told Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.
He'll also reportedly bring in $30 million in guarantees. His deal could be worth up to $49.5 million with incentives, adds Garafolo.
The 27-year-old racked up 11 sacks with the Carolina Panthers in 2021 after signing a one-year deal worth up to $8 million. He spent the previous four seasons with the Arizona Cardinals after entering the league as a first-round pick in 2017.
Reddick appeared set for a major payday last offseason after producing 12.5 sacks during his final campaign in Arizona. However, he settled for a prove-it deal with Carolina and now cashes in with Philadelphia.
The Eagles needed to bolster their pass rush after finishing 31st in the NFL in sacks (29) last season. Moreover, Derek Barnett is set to hit the open market, while Brandon Graham will turn 34 years old in April.
Reddick grew up near Philadelphia before attending Temple.
