A couple of zeros made a big difference for Burlington's Marcin Szczepanowski.
The 38-year-old truck driver scratched his Instant Supreme 7 ticket and thought he had won $700. Until he scanned his ticket to confirm his win.
I scanned it another three times and realized I won $70,000," he said. I was shaking and in disbelief."
Szczepanowski only told his mother about the win.
She didn't believe it," he said. She still doesn't."
Szczepanowski plans to purchase a home up north to go fishing and enjoy the wilderness and peace.
The feeling is unimaginable," said Szczepanowski, who purchased his ticket at Merchant's Convenience on Plains Road in Burlington. You never think it is going to happen to you."
