Report: Eagles GM Roseman inks 3-year extension

The Philadelphia Eagles signed general manager Howie Roseman to a three-year contract extension, a source told Jimmy Kempski of the Philly Voice.

Roseman was entering the final year of a deal signed in 2018.

The 46-year-old joined the Eagles in 2000 and took over as general manager in 2010. He was briefly stripped of primary decision-making duties in 2015 in favor of head coach Chip Kelly before resuming the top job in Philadelphia's front office the following year.

Roseman guided the Eagles to a Super Bowl win alongside head coach Doug Pederson in 2017, cementing his position with the franchise.

The Eagles have struggled to make a deep playoff run amid some inconsistent drafting from Roseman. They have earned three postseason appearances in the last four years but have progressed past the wild-card round just once.

Philadelphia is primed to accelerate its rebuild into a contender this offseason thanks to three first-round selections (Nos. 15, 16, 19).
