Ravens hand Harbaugh 3-year extension
Baltimore Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti announced Tuesday that head coach John Harbaugh signed a three-year extension, according to ESPN's Jamison Hensley.
Harbaugh was entering the final year of his deal. The extension will keep him under contract through 2025.
The 59-year-old, whom the Ravens hired in 2008, is now the third-longest tenured coach in the NFL.
Baltimore has enjoyed an abundance of success with Harbaugh on the sideline. The Ravens are 137-88 with nine postseason berths and a Super Bowl championship in his 14 seasons in charge.
However, the Ravens are coming off their first losing season under Harbaugh since 2015. The club limped to an 8-9 record in 2021 as it dealt with numerous injuries throughout the campaign.
