Serbia's populist pro-Kremlin president, Aleksandar Vui, won a landslide victory in Sunday's general election, but will need to form a coalition government as he strives to balance ambitions to join the EU with the country's traditional ties to Russia.
Vui, a former minister for information in Slobodan Miloevi's Yugoslav government, won 58.5% of the vote, the state election commission said on Monday after counting 96.2% of ballots.
