'Better slow down': Dad's advice to young Burlington driver before crash may have saved his son's life

Halton Regional Police are investigating a crash on Guelph Line in Burlington after a young driver hit an object on the road that caused the car to veer out of control.

Had it not been for the dad of the young driver telling his son before heading out Monday (April 4) that he better slow down, the cops might be out on Guelph line again," the crash could have been a lot worse, according to Halton police.

"Dad called our office...to say the 'better slow down' may have saved his son," Halton police said in a tweet.
