There's a flurry of activity around Hamilton this weekend.

Take a coat and umbrella with you if you head out to check on these fabulous things to do.

Environment Canada is calling for mostly cloudy skies with a chance 30-40 per cent chance of flurries or rain showers. The daytime highs should be around 7 C.

World Synchronized Skating Championships

Twenty-three teams from 19 nations will compete in the World Synchronized Skating Championships in Hamilton this weekend at FirstOntario Centre. Check out the short program on Friday at 6 p.m. and the free program Saturday starting at 1 p.m. Tickets are Friday $50 and $100, obstructed view $70; Saturday $60 and $120, obstructed $80. Available at ticketmaster.ca or worldsynchro2022.com. It will be livestreamed on CBC Sports and the ISU Skating YouTube channel.

DVSA sale

The 51st Dundas Valley School of Art's annual auction wraps up on Saturday. The sale features over 1,200 pieces of art - paintings, pastels, drawings, prints, photography, sculpture, pottery, glass, fibre art, jewelry and more. Easter events

Hop on over to Burlington Centre mall and say cheese! Photos with the Easter Bunny are available in Centre Court (by reservation only) until April 16. Book a spot at burlingtoncentre.ca.

It's an Easter Eggstravaganza for all ages on Saturday at Puddicombe Estate Farms and Winery, 1468 Hwy 8, Stoney Creek. Beyond Van Gogh

This world renowned exhibit wraps up on Sunday in Hamilton. Get up close to the paint strokes in Beyond Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience" at Hamilton Convention Centre. Poetry festival

Burlington Public Library's Lyrics & Poetry Festival continues throughout April. The celebration of all things poetic welcomes writers, award-winning songwriters, and three acclaimed Canadian poets.
