One arrested, two outstanding after early morning home invasion in central Hamilton
One woman was arrested and police are looking for two more suspects after a home invasion robbery early Monday.
Hamilton police were called to a break and enter at a residence on King Street West, near Strathcona Avenue, around 2:18 a.m. April 11, said Const. Indy Bharaj.
The suspects fled before police arrived. Officers set up a perimeter in the neighbourhood, including the K9 unit, where police arrested a 30-year-old woman. They are looking for two other suspects, a man and a woman.
The victim, a woman, suffered minor injuries and declined medical attention, Bharaj said.
Police also recovered some of the stolen property outside as they searched the perimeter. Detectives are still investigating what items were taken.
Police believe the suspects and the victim knew each other, he said.
There were no road closures to report just after 8 a.m., however police continue to investigate.
