Police raid in Milton neighbourhood turns up gun

A Milton man has been charged with multiple firearms offences following a police investigation.

Last Friday (Apr. 8), police searched a home in Milton and reported locating an illegal handgun.

The 29-year-old man is facing several charges, including:

Unauthorized possession of a restricted firearm

Possession of a restricted firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized

Possession of a restricted firearm with ammunition, contravention of storage regulations

Possession of a firearm with a defaced serial number

Two counts of possession of a firearm contrary to a prohibition order.

The charges have not been proven in court.
