Video obtained by the Star captures the scary moment when a woman was pushed onto the TTC subway tracks at Bloor-Yonge station Sunday night.

The footage hasn't been released by the TTC or the police.

It shows a woman standing close to the edge of the subway platform and looking down the tunnel. Another woman facing the opposite direction approaches her, and uses both hands to push her onto the tracks. The victim lands on the rail below.

The incident took place around 9 p.m. According to police, the victim suffered serious injuries in the fall, but got out of the path of the subway by going under the overhang of the station platform. The suspect was seen fleeing westbound on Bloor Street West.

On Monday evening, police arrested Edith Frayne, 45, at Finch subway station. She is facing one count of attempted murder.

Frayne made a brief court appearance Tuesday morning via phone from 55 Division custody. A publication ban has been imposed, prohibiting the sharing of details discussed in court until the accused is discharged or the trial is complete.

She will be back in court next Wednesday.
