One dead, four injured in crash at Hamilton airport
Hamilton police are investigating a fatal crash Saturday morning at John C. Munro Airport.
First responders were called to a single-vehicle collision at the airport just after 2:15 a.m. Five people were taken to hospital.
The driver of the vehicle, a 52-year-old man, died from his injures a short time later. The four passengers of the vehicle suffered minor injuries, police said.
The police collision reconstruction unit and the federal ministry of labour are investigating the incident.
Airport operations were not affected.
