Hamilton teen critically injured in crash at Queenston and Nash
A 15-year-old Hamilton boy was taken to hospital in critical condition after he was hit by a pickup truck Sunday night.
Hamilton police said the boy was hit while he was crossing at Queenston and Nash roads around 11 p.m. April 24.
The 15-year-old was transported to McMaster Children's Hospital in critical condition.
The driver of the 2006 Dodge Ram, a 79-year-old Hamilton man, remained at the scene and is co-operating with police.
Investigators have ruled out speed and impairment as causes in the crash, police said.
The crash is among many serious pedestrian crashes in Hamilton this year.
It is being investigated by the collision reconstruction unit.
