Halton police identify motorcyclist killed in Milton crash
Halton Regional Police continue to investigate a deadly crash at a major Milton intersection.
Police said the motorcyclist killed in the Mother's Day crash is a 26-year-old North York man.
The incident between a motorcycle and a white SUV occurred in the area of Derry Road and James Snow Parkway around 3:15 p.m.
The motorcycle was travelling eastbound on Derry Road when it struck a Hyundai Tucson within the intersection, police said.
The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The two occupants of the Hyundai, a 79-year-old Milton woman and an 86-year-old Milton man, were transported to Milton District Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The cause and circumstances surrounding the collision are presently under investigation. Any citizen who was in the area at the time of the collision with dashboard camera footage is requested to call the Collision Reconstruction Unit at 905-825-4747 ext. 5065.
