Price: $800,000

Neighbourhood: Mount Hope

Features: Located in the Villages of Glancaster, this condominium is the only property listed for sale in the community located just off Twenty Road West.

Nestled on Silverbirch Boulevard, the two-bedroom, two-bathroom house boasts more than 1,300 square feet of living space and has all the benefits of low-maintenance living," said Claire Barrett, a real estate broker with Keller Williams Edge Realty.

Within the community, there are several amenities, including a saltwater pool, a pickleball court, a horseshoe pit as well as a craft room, a barbershop and a library. The grounds are also taken care of, she noted.

It's the best of both worlds," said Barrett.

The home has an open-concept kitchen and living area with a breakfast bar, a large primary bedroom with a three-piece ensuite and a back deck accessed by sliding doors through the dining area.

The house was also thoroughly renovated two years ago, with the windows, floors, kitchen, appliances and ensuite washrooms all having been updated. However, the basement is unfinished, but there is an attached garage.

Barrett described the unit as a place where someone could rightsize," instead of your stereotypical downsize. The unit would still allow the homeowner to entertain without any unneeded space.

She noted that the home would be ideal for a young couple with no kids or a retired couple - both of whom don't have the time to mow the lawn or upkeep a pool but want that lifestyle.

It's a really nice community," said Barrett, noting all ages are welcome. The people there are lovely."

Why is it priced this way? Barrett said the price of the home was based on historical buying patterns in the complex." Earlier this year, a pair of nearby units sold for $1.1 million and just over $1 million.
