Devin McCourty: Belichick still has 'same intensity' at 70

Some people get soft in old age, but Bill Belichick apparently isn't one of them.

New England Patriots safety and captain Devin McCourty, who has been with the team since 2010, says that Belichick remains as intense as ever - even at the age of 70.

"I've always said, when people ask me what's Bill like, that he's the model of consistency," McCourty told ESPN's Mike Reiss. "Showing up to your job every day, having the same attitude, the same messaging, and being able to do that over and over again is hard.

"He continues to come in here, Day 1 of OTAs, for however many years it is, and it's the same intensity."

Belichick is entering his 48th season in the NFL and 23rd as head coach of the Patriots. He's currently the second oldest active bench boss in the NFL behind the Seattle Seahawks' Pete Carroll, who was born seven months earlier.
