Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa fired back at critics of his arm strength following Thursday's practice.

"For me, it's just 'zone that out,'" Tagovailoa said, according to ESPN's Marcel Louis-Jacques. "We come out to practice. Everyone else, Twitter warriors, keyboard warriors, whatever you want to call them, they're not out here practicing with us, working hard."

The third-year passer impressed during Thursday's session, demonstrating ample arm strength on deep throws to Tyreek Hill.

The highlights of Dolphins minicamp today: Tua connecting deep with Tyreek Hill early in practice 45 yards in air for TD with tight coverage and again at very end of practice 50 yards in air for TD again vs. solid coverage.

"I don't know if you guys recorded the last one to Tyreek. I don't know about you, but that looked like money," Tagovailoa said, according to Louis-Jacques.

Hill came to the defense of his quarterback last week, telling reporters that Tagovailoa "has one of the prettiest balls" he's ever caught.

The Dolphins' offense lacked explosiveness during Tagovailoa's first two years under center. He's thrown for 27 touchdowns to 15 interceptions over his career, but he's averaged only 6.6 yards per attempt and 194.2 yards per game.
