Hamilton police looking to identify suspect in assault with a weapon

Hamilton police are asking for help finding a suspect who allegedly brandished a weapon and cut an employee during a theft.
Police say the man entered an unnamed downtown business around 2:45 a.m. May 16, selected merchandise and left without paying.
When an employee confronted the man outside, the suspect allegedly brandished an unknown weapon and cut the employee before running southbound on John Street South.
Police have released a picture of the alleged suspect.
