Halton Regional Police and the family of an 80-year-old Burlington man are growing increasingly concerned for him after he went missing Thursday night (June 9).

Hernando Junsay was last seen in the area of Eliza Crescent in Burlington around 7 p.m. Thurday. He was believed to be travelling on his bicycle (Black OYMA mountain bike) eastbound towards the town of Oakville.

Junsay doesn't speak English (Filipino only) and suffers from early stages of Alzheimer's, police said.

He is 5-foot-4 with white hair, slim build, wearing a green brown sweater, brown pants and slippers with socks.

"Police are concerned for the safety and wellbeing of the missing person," Sgt. Derek DiFelice said.
