OPP blames racing for QEW crash

Ontario Provincial Police say a significant collision" occurred after two vehicles were reported racing on the QEW in Grimsby Friday evening.
OPP officers, Grimsby firefighters and Niagara Emergency Medical Services responded shortly before 8 p.m., following the crash in the Fort Erie bound lanes, near the Christie Street on-ramp.
OPP reported via social media that a suspect had been arrested for stunt driving and dangerous driving.
Both vehicles were found in separate ditches after rolling onto their roofs. No serious injuries were reported.
The OPP warned of traffic delays in both directions Friday evening, as officers continued their investigation.
