Power restored to Hamilton’s east Mountain

The lights are back on for some 1,476 residents and businesses on Hamilton's east Mountain after a brief power outage.

Around 7:30 a.m. on Twitter, Alectra reported an outage in the area of Berrisfield and Lisgar Park - between Upper Gage and Upper Kenilworth avenues and Limeridge and Mohawk roads.

Power was restored just after 8 a.m. The cause of the outage is unknown.
