Suspicious Burlington fire causing $500K in damages under investigation

A fire in Burlington has been deemed suspicious and the Ontario Fire Marshal's Office has been contacted.
The blaze broke out when some RVs caught fire at a storage yard on Sumach Drive around 9:30 p.m. Thursday (Aug. 11).
Fire crews responded and saw "smoke and flames showing" on arrival, according to the Burlington fire department and City of Burlington in a joint release.
It took 17 firefighters about three hours to extinguish the flames. Damage costs ave been tallied at more than $500,000.
The fire as been deemed "suspicious in nature."
It would appear the fire is related to a barbecue. Fire officials said this blaze is a reminder to follow the manufacturer's instructions for the safe maintenance and use of your barbecue.
