Dachshund delight at Confederation Park

It was a dog day at Confederation Beach Park in east Hamilton for Wiener-paw-looza Saturday.
Organizers with Canadian Dachshund Rescue said about 1,800 people and 600 dogs showed up for the annual celebration of wiener dogs. Though, all dog breeds were welcome.
Canine activities included races, trick contest, longest dachshund and a costume contest.
For human spectators, a fundraiser hot dog barbecue, silent auction and vendors were available.
