Upper Ottawa Street reopened after pedestrian struck

Hamilton police are investigating a crash on Upper Ottawa Street that sent a 19-year-old pedestrian to hospital Monday morning.
The woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries and is in stable condition in hospital, police said late morning.
A stretch of Upper Ottawa, south of Mohawk Road East, was closed for the investigation, but reopened shortly after 11 a.m.
Police said the crash occurred shortly after 8 a.m. when the woman entered into traffic abruptly and was struck. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene.
