Hamilton man charged in two armed robberies

A 36-year-old Hamilton man has been arrested and charged in connection with two armed robberies Saturday evening.
Police were called shortly after 7 p.m. Aug. 20 to two separate robberies at businesses in the area of Sherman Avenue North and Cannon Street East.
In both cases police said a lone male brandished a weapon and demanded money.
Police said they identified the suspect and arrested the 36-year-old Monday night. He faces two charges of robbery with intent.
