Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph is receiving trade interest ahead of Tuesday's cutdown day, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

With Rudolph seemingly the odd man out in Pittsburgh following the offseason additions of Mitchell Trubisky and rookie Kenny Pickett, the Steelers reportedly could be tempted to move the veteran "for the right price."

Trubisky is expected to enter the regular season as Pittsburgh's starter, while Pickett has impressed enough during the preseason to solidify the No. 2 spot.

Rudolph spent the first four years of his career in Pittsburgh after being drafted in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft. He's made 10 starts (eight of which came in 2019) and seven further appearances with the Steelers, throwing for 2,366 yards and 16 touchdowns against 11 interceptions.

The 27-year-old was once seen as a potential successor to Ben Roethlisberger, but his inconsistent play led Pittsburgh to sign Trubisky in free agency and draft Pickett with the No. 20 overall pick.
