A 26-year-old man is facing a $240 ticket after a traffic stop in Oakville.
Const. Marc Taraso said he pulled over a van Friday (Sept. 9) around 12:45 p.m. on Dundas Street westbound onto the Highway 403 on-ramp in Oakville.
He alleged there was a passenger sitting on a ladder and not buckled up.
"Catastrophe averted?," the officer said.
The passenger, a 26-year-old Brampton man, is now charged with failing to occupy a position with a seatbelt.
