Brux House on Locke Street South to close its doors
Brux House will be closing its doors next month.
The Kirkendall North eatery announced its impending closure on Wednesday through a post on social media, noting that while they feel the loss" of the restaurant, they are also leaving on a high note to focus on our other projects."
The restaurant, which is nestled among the shops on Locke Street South, thanked both their customers and staff while also expressing gratitude for the connections they made in the city's hospitality industry over the last eight years.
We are so grateful to everyone who has walked through our doors and shared this special space with us," read the post. We cannot thank you enough."
It's one of a handful of businesses that have either closed or moved from the business district in the last few months.
The eatery was known for its chicken schnitzel, pretzels, burgers and pasta offerings. The business also operated a bottle shop out of the space.
Their last service is Oct. 29, according to the post. All gift cards purchased for Brux House will be honoured at its sister restaurant, Quatrefoil, in Dundas.
