Guinea pigs take centre stage at Hamilton fundraiser

Mischief Stitches, a local company that creates fun pet items, held its second fundraiser for Serenity Guinea Pig Rescue over the weekend.
The event featured nail trims, a bake sale, lemonade stand, craft goods for sale and photos of the furry stars on the day.
Serenity Guinea Pig Rescue was started in 2017 by Feather Jervis. She saves the tiny animals all over the province when they can no longer be cared for by their current owners.
The organization receives no government funding, relying on donations and fundraisers such as this to perform their work.
