Brantford police investigating string of hate-motivated graffiti
Brantford police are investigating after several vehicles across the city were vandalized with hate-motivated graffiti.
In a press release, police said between the hours of 10 p.m. on Sept. 30 and 9 a.m. on Oct. 1, a number of vehicles parked on a handful of city streets were vandalized by an unknown person.
Streets affected by the string of vandalism include Buffalo Street, Darling Street, Dufferin Avenue, Terrace Hill Street, Banks Street, Dundee Street, Burwell Street and Wilkes Street.
It's unclear what the graffiti looked like or what community may have been targeted. The Spectator has reached out to the Brantford Police Service for more information.
Investigators are asking members of the public who reside in the affected areas to review their video surveillance footage for any suspicious activity. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 519-756-7050.
